Investigation continues into fatal auto accident

WEST BOUNTIFUL Investigation is continuing into the cause of a two-vehicle
accident that claimed the life of a 41-year-old West Bountiful woman last
Thursday evening. According to a spokesperson for the Utah Highway Patrol,
results of the investigation have been turned over to the Davis County Attorney's
Office pending possible charges against a 16-year-old youth who was driving the other vehicle.
Killed in the accident just before 7 p.m. Thursday at 1600 North 800 West,
West Bountiful, was Terry Hill Biehn. Trooper Jeff Gravici said the victim was not
wearing a safety belt and was hurtled through the left front window.
Neither the driver of the other vehicle or a 14-year-old female passenger were
seriously hurt in the accident. Trooper Graviet said the Biehn vehicle was
eastbound on1600 North and the pickup truck was southbound on 800 West
The investigating officer said the pickup truck failed to stop for a stop sign
and was traveling about 25 to 30 miles per hour at the time of impact.
Mrs. Beihn was treated at the scene by the Davis County Paramedics and airlifted
to LDS Hospital by Lifeflight Helicopter. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
