Nancy Ann Mohlman Sherwood
Nancy Ann Mohlman Sherwood 1946 ~ 2007 Nancy Ann Mohlman Sherwood, 60, passed away from cancer surrounded by her loving husband and children January 3, 2007 at McKay-Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah. Nancy was born July 2, 1946 in Boise, Idaho to Farrell Jay and Nedra Todd Mohlman. She married John H. (Jack) Sherwood on August 23, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple and they have a daughter and a son. Her childhood years were in Altamont, Utah and Bountiful, Utah. She attended Bountiful High School, Snow College and graduated from Utah State University. Nancy taught fifth grade for years and loved her kids. Whenever running into one of them she still remembers their names and all about them. Nancy had a strong testimony and loved serving in the LDS church in the Young Women's Organization, Relief Society, in the Primary and as Primary President in her ward in Farmington, Utah. She really had a special love for her primary kids and her class of Laurels. Nancy loved to travel and was often either on a trip or planning a trip. She particularly enjoyed visiting the towns and homes of her ancestors, including visits to Switzerland, Germany and the British Isles. She was an active member in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and loved doing Family History work, especially collecting stories and pictures. What Nancy loved the most was people and had an abundance of friends. She treated each friend as if they were family. Nancy had a great capacity for unconditional love and was always willing to give of herself in so many ways. She made each person feel so special and loved. She was a wonderful example of charity. She is survived by her sweetheart Jack Sherwood of Farmington, Utah; children Melissa (Matt) Brady and John Brandon (J.B) Sherwood; and grandchildren Jenna, Jackson, Brookelle and Dylan Brady. She is also survived by her mother, Nedra T. Mohlman and three brothers Frank (Lucille) Molhman, Kent (Sue) Mohlman and Jay (Debbie) Mohlman. A viewing will be held Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main, across from Cherry Hill Water Park. Memorial services will be Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Farmington 8th Ward Chapel, 1885 N. Summerwood Drive, Farmington, with a viewing at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Midway Cemetery, Midway, Utah.
