Gene Carl Niebuhr passed away peacefully July 17, 2003.
He was born Nov. 30, 1945 in Salt Lake City to Walter Niebuhr and Betty Jean Carey. Married Kathleen Ven Eman Sept. 27, 1967 in Bountiful, UT.
He served his country in the Air Force in Vietnam.
Gene graduated from Bountiful High School in 1964 where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He loved to golf and to fish for salmon in the Pacific Ocean. While living in Price in his younger days he raced stock cars.
He is survived by his father, stepmother Doris, sister Karen Scott, his wife Kathleen and three children, Kaylene, Lance (Michelle) and Korine (Ken) Drake and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother and brother John.
Memorial services will be held in Lakeport, CA. at the Lakeport LDS Ward on July 23, 2003 at 11 a.m.
