Coy Golightly Miller
Coy Golightly Miller 10/17/46 ~ 7/21/06 KAYSVILLE, Coy G. Miller, left this life with her beloved son, Steven Boyd Miller (Bo) Friday, July 21, 2006 in a tragic automobile accident in Idaho. She was born October 17, 1946 in Preston ID. the fourth child of 10 children to Orrin and Sylva Golightly. Coy married Steven Ross Miller on August 24, 1964. All who knew her loved her. She loved life, her family, children, nature, and was a friend to all, and teaching was her life, not only in her job, but in all aspects of her life. "Cheerzen" as she was called by her children and grandchildren, nurtured all she came in contact with. She had an Associate degree from USU. She was known for her beautiful flowers and plants, which she shared with her friends, family and community through her business Coy's Bloomers. She loved coaching soccer and the award winning cheerleading team during her time in Hawaii, and felt it was one of the highlights of her life. She loved the Lord and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and always served willingly. Survived by her husband, parents, mother- in-law, Leone Hatch, three daughters, April (Scott Schryver), Sonya (Kurt Frasier), Malina Gulbranson, son, Jeffery Miller (Michelle), daughter-in-law, Lisa P. Miller. Also 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters, 14 brothers-in-law and 11 sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held at Burton Lane Stake Center, 270 West Burton Lane, Kaysville, Utah on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Viewing Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main Street Farmington, Utah. (across from Cherry Hill) Interment- East Garland, Utah.
