"Aunt Ree Ree"
Nov. 3, 1945 ~ Apr. 24, 2015
Ruth D. Wheelwright, age 69, returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 24, 2015. She was born on November 3, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glen and Lillian Wheelwright. She was raised in North Salt Lake.
As a young child she lost her hearing due to a high fever. For many years

Ms. Alma Ballinger helped Ruth learn to speak. In spite of this challenge, Ruth went on to graduate from Bountiful H.S. in 1964. She worked at Hill Air Force base as a civilian employee until her retirement in 2001.
Ruth had a deep passion for Neil Diamond and shopping for purses and yarn. She was very talented at crochet work; often making beautiful blankets and hats for family and friends; she donated over 300 hats to the Road Home, Jordan Valley Pediatric Dept. and the Humanitarian Center.
Survived by her sister-in-law Mavis, four nieces, four nephews, multiple great nieces, great nephews and one great-great nephew, all of whom loved her as dearly as she loved them.
Preceded in death by her father Glen, her best friend and mother Lillian, brothers Paul and David.
Family and friends may visit from 10-10:45 am on May 2, 2015 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E, Bountiful, Utah 84010. Services will begin at 11:00 am. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
A special thanks to Copper Ridge Health Care and her dear friends at Jordan Villa Condominiums for their love, friendship and many lunch dates with our Aunt Ruthie.
