James Austin Bullock Sept. 11, 1946 ~ April 1, 2011 Resident of Martinez Jim died suddenly while on vacation. He was survived by his parents Wayne and Alene Bullock of Ft. Collins, CO. Jim was the eldest son, leaving behind one brother Kirby and five

sisters Lynda, Marigay, Tami, Sharon and Renae. Jim was blessed with his daughters Danielle Rock of Pleasant Hill, CA and Jenn Hansen of Brentwood, CA. His greatest joy was experiencing life with his three grandsons Nicholas and Zachary Rock and Jared Hansen. At the age of 13, Jim was the youngest to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. He worked diligently as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served honorably as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a widely respected and dedicated member of the Steam-fitters Local 342 in Concord, CA since 1975. He possessed an unparalleled eye for photography, avidly supported his local sports teams, and devoted his leisure time to mastering the art of fishing. His fun-loving spirit was felt by anyone who had the honor of knowing him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 12-3pm at Zio Fraedos Restaurant, 611 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill.
