He enjoyed his co-workers, who tolerated his unusual great sense of humor. He loved to watch Jazz games with his sons and go to Wendover with Laurie, especially when they'd win. He spent many summer vacations at the Bear Lake Cabin. He loved to watch and feed the birds. He was the oldest of six sons, leaving Robert Edelman (Hope), Rocky Edelman (Coleen), Bradley Edelman (Joanie), Dana Edelman (Patty), Lance Edelman (Teresa) and many nieces and nephews. He dearly loved and married Laurie Dunlap on June 19, 1972 in Elko, Nevada and they have been together for 33 years. They have four sons, Cory, Todd (Kathy), Douglas and Michael; five grandchildren, Ana, Micayla, Katelyn, Jordan and Aiden. He said they were the 'Light of my Life.' Preceded in death by his dear mother Verla Edelman, dad Robert Edelman and father Raymond Brenneise. He loved his family and took care of us all. He will be greatly missed. "We love you, Doug!" Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday March 11, 2006, at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
